Though my journey of faith has been lifelong, after many years of seeking a deeper spiritual connection, I embraced Eastern Catholicism around 2023. For over ten years, I’ve been crafting prayer beads such as rosaries, and more recently, I’ve learned the art to creating chotki—Eastern Christian prayer ropes that are rich in symbolism and spiritual depth. Each rope I make is not only a tool for prayer but a piece of sacred art, imbued with the timeless tradition of seeking God from the heart. The chotki are deeply meaningful to me, reminding us that our prayer life is both a journey and a refuge, much like the lives of the Eastern saints I hold dear.
